Spätburgunder Tradition trocken - Ökonomierat Rebholz

Spätburgunder Tradition trocken - Ökonomierat RebholzSpätburgunder Tradition trocken - Ökonomierat RebholzThe elegant Pinot Noir Tradition from Ökonomierat Rebholz shimmers into the glass with a bright light red. When swirling the wine glass, one can perceive a perfect balance in this red wine, as it does not stand out on the glass walls in a watery, syrupy or liqueur-like manner. The first nose of Pinot Noir Tradition presents of morello cherries, black cherries and plums. The fruity parts of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel aging such as toasted barrique, vanilla and cocoa bean. This dry red wine from Ökonomierat Rebholz is perfect for people who can't drink their wine dry enough. The Pinot Noir Tradition already comes very close to this, as it was pressed with just 0.2 grams of residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this balanced red wine is wonderfully dense. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Pinot Noir Tradition reveals itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this wine from the wine-growing region of the Palatinate finally inspires with considerable length. There are again hints of blackberry and morello cherry. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the limestone-dominated soils join in. Vinification of the Ökonomierat Rebholz Pinot Noir Tradition This balanced red wine from Germany is biodynamically produced from the Pinot Noir grape variety. In the Palatinate region, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone. Spätburgunder Tradition is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this German wine exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. The fact that the Spätburgunder grapes thrive under the influence of a rather cool climate also has a very high influence on the development of the vintage. This manifests itself, among other things, in particularly long and uniform grapes and rather moderate alcohol content in the wine. When perfectly ripe, the grapes for Pinot Noir Tradition are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective full harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Pinot Noir Tradition is aged for another 24 months in French oak barriques. Food recommendation for the Pinot Noir Tradition from Ökonomierat Rebholz Experience this biodynamic red wine from Germany best tempered at 15 - 18°C as an accompanying wine to lamb stew with chickpeas and dried figs, vegetable couscous with beef meatballs or boeuf bourguignon.
