On the palate, the texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully velvety. Thanks to its lively acidity, the Merlot Pfalz presents itself on the palate as exceptionally fresh and vibrant. The finish of this youthful red wine from the Palatinate wine-growing region finally delights with a beautiful aftertaste. Vinification of Merlot Pfalz by Keth This red wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Merlot. For this wonderfully powerful varietal wine from Keth, only immaculate grapes were brought in. After the harvest, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation in large wooden vats at controlled temperatures follows. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months in oak barrels. Food recommendation for Keth Merlot Pfalz This German red wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is a perfect companion to goose breast with ginger red cabbage and marjoram, lemon-chili chicken with bulgur, or baked feta parcels.
