Vernaccia di Serrapetrona DOCG Spumante Dolce Fontezoppa has a sweet and soft taste that makes it unmistakable. 60% of the must obtained from Vernaccia Nera grapes is immediately put into fermentation, while the remaining 40% ferments after being naturally dried for about 60 days. In the glass the typical ruby red color shines with violet reflections, and the nose is pervaded by intense aromas of wild berries, mulberry, raspberries, and a slight note of black pepper. On the palate it is sweet and soft, with pleasant and typical spicy notes. A truly surprising sweet sparkling wine, and one of the few sweet sparkling wines to find its ideal match with cinnamon and clove spiced desserts such as gingerbread, mostaccioli and cinnamon apple pie.
