In Trentino-Alto Adige, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on limestone soils. After hand-picking, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. There, they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation in small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures follows. After fermentation is complete, the elegant Rubeno Lagrein Alto Adige is matured for another 6 months in barriques made of oak.
