The wine: Cuvée du Vatican - Côtes du Rhône by Jean-Marc Diffonty is full-bodied with a fruity and spicy aroma; its tannins are ripe but not overpowering. Typical of a Grenache wine, it evokes notes of figs and prunes. These are complemented by the robust aromas of the Syrah, which bring with them the scent of the garrigue – the heathland found in the Mediterranean regions. Welcome to the South of France!
