Casale del Giglio Shiraz Lazio IGT 0,75 ℓ

The Shiraz of Casale del Giglio is the Lazio expression of an international grape variety that has traveled the world . From the Rhone Valley to South Africa, this variety finds different expressions of itself depending on the land in which it is placed. This structured and complex version is vinified in La Ferriera, in the province of Latina. It consists of 100% Syrah grapes. The maceration, alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation process takes place in steel tanks. Refine for 8-12 months in barrique and for 6 months in bottle. It presents itself in the glass with a ruby color. The nose opens notes of black currant, blueberries, morello cherry and a spice of cardamom and cinnamon. The body is well structured and smoothed by an elegant tannic texture. Softness characterizes the enveloping sip, which is counterpointed by a good acidic streak. Perfect to accompany a grilled beef fillet.
