Our Edelis Velvet Red reveals, among other things, a warm aroma of raspberries and cherries on the nose. On the palate it is full-bodied, juicy with fresh fruit, mild acidity and soft tannins. The velvet red is the youngest offspring of the Burgundy family and a natural mutation of the black Riesling. The grape variety was discovered in Weinsberg in 1928. The velvet red is a noble and elegant representative of the large Burgundy family.
