Nicht nur das prächtige Schlossgebäude kann es mit den prominenten Nachbarn aufnehmen, auch die klassische Médoc-Cuvée glänzt auf Augenhöhe. Expressiv, gut balanciert, mit feinem Tannin und präziser Säure. PRESSE 92-93 Punkte James Suckling Notes of ripe and mellow dark berries here with a hint of orange peel. It’s medium-bodied, supple and polished. 93 Punkte Falstaff (Peter Moser) Kräftiges Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Feine Kirschfrucht, Riniseln, zart nach Mandarinenzesten, noch etwas scheu. Schlank, rote Kirschen, zarte Süße, reife Tannine, bleibt haften, ein lebendiger Speisenbegleiter, guter Herkunftsbezug, hat Entwicklungspotenzial. 92-94 Punkte Vinous (Neal Martin) The 2023 Labégorce has a well-defined nose that leans slightly more toward red than black fruit. It's understated at first but soon coheres and gains intensity. The palate is medium-bodied with very pliant tannins. Satin-like in texture and very cohesive, with a touch of spice on the finish, this is a classy Margaux that will give a great deal of pleasure over the next 15 to 20 years. Warning through: it will be difficult to resist in its youth.
