The nose is quite concentrated and pure: dark cherries mixed with blueberry fruit, developing floral scents with aeration. The aromatics are shaped by the 55% Merlot, higher than usual. The palate is medium-bodied with saturated tannins, quite spicy with blood-orange-infused black fruit. It closes with a high-toned finish that should calm down during barrel-maturation.
