Riesling Zellertal - Weingut Schwedhelm

The Zellertal Riesling grows in young, south-facing parcels on the Kreuzberg and Schwarzer Herrgott vineyards, whose soils are characterized by clay, marl, and significant limestone inclusions. Following a careful pre-harvest selection, the grapes underwent a short maceration period before being pressed and spontaneously fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The wine then matured for seven months on the lees, which imparted additional structure and finesse. In the glass, it displays a clear minerality and vibrant acidity, complemented by aromas of citrus and stone fruit, as well as an invigorating salinity on the finish that ensures exceptional drinkability.
