Vinification of the Marchesi Antinori Villa Antinori Rosso Toscana 3.0 l double magnum Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese and Syrah grapes form the basis for the first-class and wonderfully balanced Villa Antinori Rosso Toscana 3.0 l double magnum cuvée from Marchesi Antinori. The Villa Antinori Rosso Toscana 3.0 l double magnum is clearly characterized by more than just the Toscana IGT soil. This Italian wine can literally be described as an Old World wine that presents itself in an exceptionally impressive way. The maturation of the grapes for this wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese and Syrah is influenced to a considerable extent by the climate of the growing region. In Tuscany, the grapes thrive in a warm climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly well-ripened grapes and a rather high must weight. When perfect physiological ripeness is ensured, the grapes for the Villa Antinori Rosso Toscana 3.0 l double magnum are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small wooden vats at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Villa Antinori Rosso Toscana 3.0 l double magnum is aged for a further 18 months in French, American and Hungarian oak barrels. The ageing in oak barrels is followed by extensive bottle ageing, which makes this red wine even more complex. Recommendation for Marchesi Antinori Villa Antinori Rosso Toscana 3.0 l double magnum Ideally enjoy this red wine from Italy at a temperature of 15 - 18°C as an accompaniment to vegetable couscous with beef meatballs, lamb ragout with chickpeas and dried figs or boeuf bourguignon. <p
