Pinot Noir - Weingut Bründlmayer
Pinot Noir - Weingut BründlmayerThe light-footed Pinot Noir from Weingut Bründlmayer flows into the glass with a brilliant light red color. When the glass is tilted slightly, a transition of the hue towards garnet red can be seen at the rim of this barrel-aged wine. When swirling the glass, this red wine is characterized by an incredible lightness that lets it dance lively in the glass. On the nose, this Weingut Bründlmayer red wine shows all kinds of blueberries, black cherries, blackberries, plums and blackcurrants. As if that were not impressive enough, further aromas such as cocoa bean, gingerbread spice and oriental spices are added through maturation in large wooden casks. The Weingut Bründlmayer Pinot Noir delights with its elegantly dry flavor profile. It was bottled with only 1.3 grams of residual sugar. This is a genuine quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities, and thus this Austrian, despite all its dryness, enchants with the finest balance. Flavor does not necessarily require sugar. Thanks to its present acidity, the Pinot Noir reveals itself on the palate as exceptionally fresh and lively. The finish of this well age-worthy red wine from the wine-growing region of Lower Austria, more precisely from Kamptal, is ultimately distinguished by a remarkable length. Vinification of the Weingut Bründlmayer Pinot Noir The basis for the elegant Pinot Noir from Lower Austria is grapes of the Pinot Noir variety. Pinot Noir is an Old World wine through and through, as this Austrian breathes an exceptional European charm that clearly underscores the success of wines from the Old World. The ripening of the grapes for this Pinot Noir wine is influenced to a very high degree by the climate of the growing region. In Lower Austria, the grapes thrive in a rather cool climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and even clusters and a rather moderate must weight. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately brought to the press house. Here they are sorted and gently broken. Fermentation then takes place in large wooden vats at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine matures for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled. Food recommendation for the Pinot Noir from Weingut Bründlmayer This red wine from Austria is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15–18°C. It pairs perfectly as an accompanying wine to fried calf’s liver with apples, onions and balsamic sauce, goose breast with ginger red cabbage and marjoram, or boeuf bourguignon.| Prezzo |
