ROBERT PARKER - THE WINE ADVOCATE: The 2022 de Ferrand shows promise, offering up aromas of dark berries, preserved plums, licorice, burnt sage and petals, followed by a medium to full-bodied, rich and layered palate with a deep core of ripe fruit framed by rich, powdery tannins that assert themselves with chalky grip on the finish. It's a blend of 66% Merlot and 34% Cabernet Franc. - William Kelley FALSTAFF: Dunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, breitere Randaufhellung. Zart nach reifen Zwetschken, etwas Nugat, dunkle Waldbeeren, einladendes Bukett. Saftig, reife Herzkirschen, präsente Tannine, dezente Frische, zart blättrig im Abgang, wird von Flaschenreife profitieren. - Peter Moser
