The finish of this well-ageing white wine from the Palatinate wine region ultimately captivates with a beautiful aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets from the sandstone-dominated soils. Vinification of Weingut Bürklin Wolf Wachenheimer Rechbächel Riesling The basis for the balanced Wachenheimer Rechbächel Riesling from the Palatinate is grapes of the Riesling variety. In the Palatinate, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on sandstone soils. At optimal ripeness, the grapes for Wachenheimer Rechbächel Riesling are harvested exclusively by hand, without the use of coarse and less selective machinery. After harvesting, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large wooden casks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by several months of aging on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off. Food recommendation for Weingut Bürklin Wolf Wachenheimer Rechbächel Riesling This German white wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8–10°C. It pairs perfectly as an accompanying wine with spicy chestnut soup, Jamaican chicken drumsticks with pineapple salad, or fennel salad with red lentils.| Prezzo |
