Vinification of Leopard's Leap Shiraz The balanced Shiraz from South Africa is a varietal wine, vinified from the Shiraz grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately brought to the winery. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large oak vats at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before finally being bottled. Food recommendation for Leopard's Leap Shiraz This red wine from South Africa is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfectly suited as an accompanying wine to ossobuco, goose breast with ginger red cabbage and marjoram, or vegetable couscous with beef meatballs.
