Clos Mogador - Com Tu Garnacha

Clos Mogador - Com Tu Garnacha 2021 ist die neueste Kreation des Weingutes Bodegas Clos Mogador. Hier in der Region Montsant, in dem Ort La Figuera, befinden sich die höchstgelegenen Weinberge des kleinen Anbaugebietes. Hier wurde überwiegend Garnacha angepflanzt und so gibt es auch heute noch sehr viele 80 - 100 Jahre alte Garnacha Rebstöcke, die auch die Basis für diesen spanischen Rotwein bilden. Der Wein wird mit den Rappen vergoren, das verleiht dem Wein eine tolle Frische, und reift danach 12 Monate in einem 5000 Liter großen Holzfass und anschließend kommt er weitere Monate in einen Zementlagar. Luis Gutierrez bewertet diesen spanischen Wein mit 94+ Parker Punkten und schreibt: There is a change in image in the 2021 Com Tu, a village red from La Figuera in Montsant, with a label that is similar to the one from the new rosé, a drawing of the village. They used a high percentage of full clusters, and it matured in an old 5,000-liter foudre for one year and then fine-tuned in concrete. It is super floral and perfumed, completely different from Clos Mogador, with a light extraction, a pale color, and contained ripeness and alcohol (14%), with the sapidity from the limestone soils and very fine chalky tannins. 13,000 bottles produced. They have planted more vines and purchased some older ones to increase the volume in the future.
