Rosé Brut Intense - Dourdon Vieillard
Rosé Brut Intense - Dourdon VieillardWith the Dourdon Vieillard Rosé Brut Intense, a first-class Champagne reaches the wine glass. It displays a wonderfully radiant, light red color. The mousse of this sparkling wine presents itself in the glass as extremely fine, elegant, and persistent. If you swirl it in the glass to give it some air, you can perceive a perfect balance in this sparkling wine, as it neither appears watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the sides of the glass. In the glass, this Champagne from Dourdon Vieillard shows aromas of raspberry, complemented by lime and red currant. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced sparkling wine is wonderfully light, crisp, and creamy. On the finish, this wine from the Champagne wine-growing region delights with beautiful length. Once again, nuances of raspberry appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the clay- and limestone-dominated soils join in. Vinification of the Rosé Brut Intense from Dourdon Vieillard The balanced Rosé Brut Intense from France is a cuvée made from the grape varieties Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Champagne. Here, the vines drive their roots deep into soils of clay and limestone. Naturally, the Rosé Brut Intense is defined by more than just the Champagne terroir. This French wine can be described, in the best sense of the word, as an Old World wine, presenting itself as extraordinarily distinguished and complex. The ripening of the harvested grapes for this wine from Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir is influenced to a not insignificant degree by the climate of the growing region. In Champagne, the grapes thrive in a rather cool climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and evenly ripened grapes and a rather moderate must weight. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by the fermentation of the base wines. After the cuvée is assembled, further maturation takes place on the basis of the Méthode Traditionelle. The Dourdon Vieillard Rosé Brut Intense then matures for 6 months on the full lees. Food recommendation for the Dourdon Vieillard Rosé Brut Intense This French sparkling wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 5 - 7°C. It pairs perfectly as an accompaniment to stir-fried vegetables with fish, omelet with salmon and fennel, or vegetable salad with beetroot.| Prezzo |
