Milmanda Chardonnay - Miguel Torres

The Milmanda Chardonnay from Familia Torres is considered one of Spain's outstanding Chardonnays. Its name derives from the medieval Milmanda Castle, which belonged to the Poblet Monastery in the 12th century and in whose surroundings the Chardonnay vines now thrive. The 15-hectare vineyards are characterized by deep, calcareous clay soils that provide optimal conditions for the grape variety. The wine captivates with an intense bouquet of citrus fruits, ripe melon, and tropical fruits, complemented by notes of butter, smoke, vanilla, and truffle. On the palate, it is full-bodied with a creamy texture and a long, elegant finish.
