Margaret River Chardonnay - Larry Cherubino

The wine-growing region lies south of the capital, Perth, and benefits particularly from the cooling sea breezes, resulting in white wines that impress with their crisp, fresh fruit and elegance. The vineyards are located near Karridale and Wilyabrup in the north of the region. The grapes are pressed whole-cluster and fermented and aged in a blend of 60% new and 40% used, one-year-old French oak barrels of various origins.
