Viña Sol Rosé - Torres Icons

Viña Sol was one of the first creations of the newly qualified oenologist Miguel A. Torres in 1962 - originally a fragrant, lively white wine. But in Catalonia the sun also shines for rosé! Made from classic red Mediterranean grapes, Viña Sol Rosado is the most delicate fusion of Mediterranean spice and juicy freshness! Brief contact with the skins gives the cuvée its light rosé color. The grapes are then gently pressed, the must slowly fermented at a cool 14 °C in stainless steel tanks and the wine is bottled in January following the harvest in order to preserve its fine, spicy and fruity aromas as pure and fresh as possible. Fragrant bouquet of red summer berries (currants), elegant and silky on the palate with a hint of pink pepper in the finish.
