Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the New Style flatters the palate with a pleasing feel, without lacking juicy liveliness. In the finish, this good storable from the wine region the Burgenland finally inspires with good length. Again, hints of papaya and vineyard peach appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by gravel and sand join in. Vinification of the New Style from Salzl Seewinkelhof The basis for the powerful New Style from Burgenland are grapes from the Chardonnay variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Burgenland. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of sand and gravel. After the grape harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully milled. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.
