Vinification of the Petruskellerei Pinot Noir The basis for the elegant Pinot Noir from Italy are grapes from the Pinot Noir variety. When perfectly ripe, the grapes for Pinot Noir are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and barely selective grape harvesters. After the hand harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in small wood at controlled temperatures. After its end, the light-footed Pinot Noir is aged for another 12 months in oak barrels. Recommendation for Petruskellerei Pinot Noir This red wine from Italy is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as a companion to duck breast with sugar snap peas, veal boiled beef with beans and tomatoes or braised chicken in red wine.
