A spicy and powerful cuvée of Chardonnay grapes from the cool, chalky vineyards of Kallstadt and Pinot Blanc from the warm red sandstone soils of Ungstein. Bottled unfiltered, the Kalk & Stein reveals, after a rather reductive nose, an elegant structure with a light melt, aromas of apple and apricot tart with light floral notes, and a puristic saltiness with a distinct punch.
