Vinification of the Pinot Gris from Weingut Kiefer The basis for the elegant Pinot Gris from Baden are grapes from the grape variety Pinot Gris. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Baden. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of loam, loess and volcanic rock. After the grapes are harvested, they are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Pinot Gris can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
