In the finish, mineral notes of the gravel-dominated soils join in. Vinification of Nicolodi Alfio Kerner This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Kerner. Only immaculate grapes were harvested for this wonderfully balanced single-varietal wine from Nicolodi Alfio. In Trentino-Alto Adige, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of gravel. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the Kerner can harmonize further for 6 months on the fine lees.
