The Straits Sauvignon Blanc - Sileni EstatesThe Straits Sauvignon Blanc from Sileni Estates in New Zealand's Marlborough wine region is a varietally pure, complex and balanced white wine. In a bright straw yellow with sparkling reflections, this wine presents itself in the glass. The nose is treated to expressive aromas of ripe tropical fruit - especially passion fruit - juicy gooseberries and subtle notes of lime as well as lemon. On the palate, this New Zealand wine is wonderfully balanced. The fine acidity is perfectly integrated and harmonizes wonderfully with the fresh fruity aromas of the nose. The reverberation awaits with a good length. Vinification of the Sauvignon Blanc Sileni The Straits Once the Sauvignon Blanc grapes arrive at the Sileni winery, they are first destemmed and gently pressed. The must is transferred to stainless steel tanks for fermentation. Once the fermentation process is complete, this white wine remains on its lees for some time to develop texture and complexity. Food recommendation for the Sileni Straits Sauvignon Blanc Enjoy this dry white wine from New Zealand with fresh fish in a light lemon sauce, or with finely spiced dishes of Asian cuisine.
