This single varietal Spanish wine flatters the glass with wonderfully expressive notes of gallia melon, papayas, mangoes and guavas. These are joined by hints of other fruits. On the palate, Jean Leon's 3055 Rosé opens pleasantly dry, grippy and aromatic. On the tongue, this light-footed rosé wine is characterized by a tremendously crisp texture. In the finish, this youthful rosé wine from the wine-growing region of Catalonia finally inspires with considerable length. There are again hints of mango and pineapple. Vinification of the Jean Leon 3055 Rosé The elegant 3055 Rosé from Spain is a single-varietal wine, organically vinified from the Pinot Noir grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled. Food recommendation for Jean Leon 3055 Rosé This Spaniard is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to onion tart with thyme, baked sweet potatoes with feta cheese or spicy chestnut soup.
