Crianza Rioja DOCa - VivancoThe Crianza of Vivanco wraps itself in a dark brilliant cherry red with purple reflections. Its rich bouquet shows aromas of ripe fruit (cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant) and spicy notes (licorice), enhanced by well-integrated nuances of wood barrel aging (toasted notes and vanilla). This varietal wine is full-bodied, full-bodied, harmonious and elegant, with perfectly integrated soft tannins that are clearly noticeable, and a finish that is elegant, multi-faceted and persistent. The bottle was modeled on an original 18th century wine bottle on display at the Vivanco Museum of Wine Culture. Vinification of Vivanco Crianza Tinto After the careful hand harvest of the grapes (Tempranillo, Graciano and Maturana Tinta) from the Vivanco winery, the grapes are destemmed, crushed, macerated and the resulting must is fermented under temperature control in stainless steel tanks. The fermented wine is finally aged for 18 months in French and American oak barrels. Food recommendation for the Crianza from Vivanco This dry red wine from Spain is an excellent soloist and companion to vegetable, pasta and rice dishes, meat and Mediterranean cuisine.
