Vinification of the Edetaria Via Edetana Tinto This powerful red wine from Spain is vinified from the Carignan and Garnacha grape varieties. When they are perfectly ripe, the grapes for Via Edetana Tinto are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective full harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in large wood at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, Via Edetana Tinto is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
