When swirling the glass, this red wine reveals a high viscosity, which is evident in church windows at the rim of the glass. This German cuvée presents wonderfully fragrant and complex notes of violets, lavender, perfumed rose and blueberries in the glass. These are joined by hints of oak, dark chocolate and gingerbread spice. This dense and velvety red wine is full-bodied and complex on the palate. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Z red wine cuvée reveals itself fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this ripening red wine from the wine-growing region of Palatinate finally captivates with considerable reverberation. Vinification of the Oliver Zeter Z red wine cuvée The basis for the first-class and wonderfully powerful Cuvée Z red wine cuvée from Oliver Zeter are Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grapes. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by 12 months of aging in French oak barrels. This dry red wine is rounded off for another 12 months in bottle in the wine cellar of Oliver Zeter. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to leek tortilla, stuffed peppers or goose breast with ginger red cabbage and marjoram.
