In a deep purple color with a black core, this wine presents itself in the glass. The nose enjoys a very fruity aroma that reveals red as well as black currants and dark plums. This is joined by spicy, dried herb notes. On the palate, this Argentine red wine has a juicy body supported by a round, soft tannin structure. The acidity is wonderfully integrated . The aromatic complexity of the nose carries through to the pleasantly long finish. Vinification of the Bousquet Gaia Only organically grown grapes are used for this cuvée. The vines are rooted in Tupungato - Alto Gualtallary - at an altitude of 1200 meters, in gravelly and sandy soils. The harvest of Malbec, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes begins in early April. Once the grapes arrive at the Bousquet winery, they are cold macerated for 72 hours. The must is then fermented at a controlled temperature of 27 degrees Celsius for 12 days in stainless steel tanks. This is followed by another maceration of 14 days. For aging, this wine is placed in French oak barrels for 10 months.
