Only the best grapes were harvested for this exceptionally elegant single-varietal wine from Emil Bauer. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Palatinate region. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay, limestone and loess. When perfect physiological ripeness is assured, the grapes for Bundschuh Muskateller are harvested particularly quickly and at the coolest possible time of day to preserve their aromas. After the harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to spicy curry with lamb, red onion stuffed with couscous and apricots or spinach gratin with almonds.
