
Cabernet Sauvignon - PrincicWith the Princic Cabernet Sauvignon, a first-class red wine comes into the swirled glass. There it offers a wonderfully bright, crimson color. The first nose of Cabernet Sauvignon shows notes of blackberry jelly. The fruity components of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel aging such as even more fruity-balsamic nuances. On the palate, Princic's Cabernet Sauvignon opens pleasantly dry, grippy and aromatic. On the tongue, this well-balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly bulky and dense texture. The finish of this red wine from Slovenia, more precisely from Brda, finally convinces with a beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by sandstone. Vinification of Princic Cabernet Sauvignon This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, Cabernet Sauvignon. Only premium grape material was brought in for this exceptionally balanced varietal wine from Princic. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Slovenia. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of sandstone. After harvesting, the grapes reach the pressing house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and large wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off. Serving recommendation for Princic's Cabernet Sauvignon This red wine from Slovenia is best enjoyed tempered at 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to boeuf bourguignon, goose breast with gingered red cabbage and marjoram, or vegetable couscous with beef meatballs .
