
Ensemblo - La SourceThe elegant Ensemblo from La Source comes into the glass with bright platinum yellow. The first nose of Ensemblo shows nuances of green apple, ripe apple and mirabelle. The fruity aspects of the bouquet are joined by mint / lemon balm. On the palate, La Source's Ensemblo opens delightfully dry, grippy and aromatic. On the palate, the texture of this balanced white wine presents wonderfully crisp. Finally, on the finish, this wine from the Valle d'Aosta wine region delights with beautiful length. There are again hints of lemon and mirabelle. In the finish, mineral notes of the sand-dominated soils join in. Vinification of La Source Ensemblo This balanced white wine from Italy is made from the grape varieties Gewürztraminer, Moscatel and Müller-Thurgau. In the Valle d'Aosta, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sand. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn into bottles. Recommendation for La Source Ensemblo This white wine from Italy is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to asparagus salad with quinoa, vegetable stew with pesto or potato pan with salmon.
