Vinification of the Nicolas Gaudry Pouilly-Fumé This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Sauvignon Blanc. For this wonderfully balanced varietal wine by Nicolas Gaudry, only top-quality grapes were used. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Val de Loire. The vines dig their roots deep into the limestone soils here. After the harvest, the grapes quickly arrive at the press house. Here they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, aging occurs for several months on the fine lees, before the wine is finally bottled.
