Pinot Grigio DOC - Antiche TerreIn the glass, the Pinot Grigio from Antiche Terre reveals a brilliantly shimmering color. Poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from the Old World reveals wonderfully expressive aromas of quince, apple, pear and Nashi pear, rounded off by sun-warmed rocks and forest soil. This dry white wine from Antiche Terre is for wine drinkers who like their wine dry. The Pinot Grigio comes very close to this, as it was vinified with just 3.5 grams of residual sugar. On the palate, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly silky and light texture. The Pinot Grigio is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate thanks to its present fruit acidity. On the finish, this white wine from the Veneto wine-growing region finally delights with good length. There are again hints of pear and quince. Vinification of the Pinot Grigio from Antiche Terre This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Pinot Grigio. Only the best grapes were harvested for this exceptionally elegant single-varietal wine from Antiche Terre. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled. Recommended pairing for the Pinot Grigio from Antiche Terre This Italian white wine is best enjoyed chilled at 8 - 10°C. It goes perfectly with wok vegetables with fish, fried trout with ginger pear or baked sheep's cheese parcels. <p
