Taste does not necessarily require residual sugar. The finish of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Sicily, more precisely from Menfi DOC, ultimately impresses with a good aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the sand-dominated soils. Vinification of the Cantine Settesoli Mandrarossa Timperosse This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Petit Verdot. Only first-class grapes were used for this wonderfully balanced single-varietal wine from Cantine Settesoli. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on sandy soils in Sicily. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Mandrarossa Timperosse can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for 7 months. Ageing in wooden barrels is followed by extensive bottle ageing, which makes this red wine even more complex.
