The Groh Grohkost Pinot Blanc presents itself wonderfully dry to the wine enthusiast. This white wine never shows itself coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly melting texture. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Grohkost Pinot Blanc is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen finally inspires with good length. Once again, hints of mirabelle plum and pink grapefruit appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by marl and limestone join in. Vinification of the Groh Grohkost Pinot Blanc This elegant white wine from Germany is vinified from the Pinot Blanc grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Rheinhessen. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of limestone and marl. After manual harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the Grohkost Pinot Blanc is aged for another 4 months in oak barrels. It is perfect as an accompaniment to spinach gratin with almonds, lemon chili chicken with bulgur or cabbage roulades.
