When perfectly ripe, the grapes for the Montes Twins Red Blend are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective machines. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the Montes Twins Red Blend is aged for another 12 months in French oak barrels.
