Vinification of the Rosé from Glatzer The basis for the elegant rosé from Lower Austria are grapes from the varieties Blaufränkisch and Saint Laurent. In Lower Austria, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay, sand and limestone. When the perfect physiological ripeness is ensured, the grapes for the rosé are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective machines. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled. After the wine is finished, the rosé is carefully harmonized. Food recommendation for the Glatzer Rosé Experience this rosé wine from Austria best well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompanying wine to vegetable salad with beetroot, omelet with salmon and fennel or spaghetti with yogurt-mint pesto.
