Pinot Vom Sonnenberg Burgenland Braunstein - Weingut Birgit Braunstein

Burgenland Pinot Noir from Sonnenberg. Grows in the Thenau location on Muschelkalk. First nose: inviting red berries, rose hips, creamy. Then more and more subtle herbal notes, black tea, a little smoke, elegant tannins and a very fine minerality. Filigree Pinot style and a great introduction to a grape variety that is not always as accessible as here. Serve slightly chilled in summer.
