Chassagne-Montrachet AOP - Château de Melin

Alcoholic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, 20% of which are new. The nose reveals acacia and hazelnut, along with a pronounced minerality, with the wood notes lending a toasted note. Elegant notes of linden blossom, roasted almonds, and a hint of quince unfold on the nose. On the palate, the wine is complex: delicate earthiness, fresh citrus fruits, and nutty aromas combine with pronounced minerality and subtle toasted aromas from the oak barrel aging. The structure is balanced, the texture creamy, and the finish remarkably long.
