Rasslerin Rotgipfler - Krug

The Rasslerin vineyard is one of the oldest sites in Gumpoldskirchen on the slope of the Anninger. With its heavy brown earth soils interspersed with limestone, it is perfect for aromatic grape varieties such as Rotgipfler. The 20% aging in wood gives it additional strength and body, but the multi-part aging in stainless steel keeps the focus on the primary fruit. Scores on the palate with plenty of freshness, piquant herbal spice and subtle exotic fruit. Smooth wine with good length.
