The single vineyard Walsheimer Silberberg, with its high lime content in the soil, is an ideal location for growing Chardonnay vines. The wine was matured in small French oak barrels and offers a complexity and variety of aromas that range from mango to yellow apple, quince and lemon to toasted brioche with roasted notes, nuts, vanilla and subtle wood tones as well as a fine flint note. Highly complex and concentrated with rock minerality and light creaminess, this flagship of the Karl Pfaffmann house is a Chardonnay for special moments of wine enjoyment.
