
Sant'Antimo Olmaia DOC Bio - Col d'OrciaThe Sant'Antimo Olmaia from Col d'Orcia presents itself in the glass in an intense ruby red and unfolds its typical varietal bouquet with aromas of wild berries, plums and cassis. These notes are rounded off by the spicy aromas of spices and oak. This red wine from Tuscany is fleshy on the palate with a great structure. The tannins are soft and harmonize perfectly with the classic oak notes. The finish is long-lasting and spicy. Vinification for the Sant'Antimo Olmaia from Col d'Orcia The vines for this pure Cabernet Sauvignon grow in vineyards in Olmaia, Montalcino. After manual harvesting, the grapes were selected once again before fermentation. Fermentation and maceration took place over a period of 20 days in stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation. The Sant'Antimo Olmaia matured for 18 months in French and American oak barrels and a further 8 months in the bottle.
