Vinification of Niepoort Senior Port The grapes are carefully harvested by hand from vines over 30 years old in the single vineyard sites of Vale do Pinhão and Ferrão. This port is aged for seven years in traditional pipas, wooden barrels with a capacity of 550 liters, which allow a lively exchange of air.
