97/100 PP The pale 2021 Chardonnay Malans Unique is clear, pure and fresh on the precise and savory nose that shows white and pale yellow fruit aromas intertwined with stony notes. Pure, fresh and juicy on the palate, with fine tannins intermingling with saline acidity, this is an elegant but straight, firm and tensioned, very mineral Unique Chardonnay with a long, intense and saline finish and lemony notes on the aftertaste. This is a very young but great Swiss white with enormous aging capacity. 13% stated alcohol. Diam cork. Tasted at the domaine in Malans, February 2023. (Stephan Reinhardt, robertparker.com)
