Piccini 1882 Alta Vendemmia Memŏro 0,75 ℓ

The Memoro Alta Vendemmia red wine by Piccini 1882 from the selection of Italian red grapes. The wine is a blend of Sangiovese, Aglianico, Cabernet Sauvignon and Nero d'Avola from Tuscany, Basilicata, Veneto and Sicily. Each variety is vinified separately to then go to compose the blend. Sangiovese, Aglianico and Nero d'Avola age in 20 hl and 50 hl oak barrels, while the Cabernet Sauvignon 18 months in French barriques. Wine with an elegant ruby red color, it has a nose with aromas of cherry and black cherry, aromatic herbs, licorice and sweet spices. The sip is warm, with silky tannins and a discreet persistence. Fantastic in the company of baked pasta, red meats and aged cheeses.
