In the classic Felsenberg (Oberhausen) and Hinkelstein (Bad Kreuzach) vineyards, the stony soil has a higher clay content in some places. These are the perfect locations for selecting Pinot Blanc grapes, which are then vinified separately to the S class. Vine age: approximately 40 years. Yield: approximately 40 hl/ha. 100% selective hand-picking. Fermentation and aging on the lees for approximately 8 months in new German oak barrels. Selection of healthy, highly ripe Pinot Blanc grapes. The wood aromas of the new Palatinate oak barrels give the Pinot Blanc backbone and power, making it an excellent menu wine with great aging potential.
