Pinot Noir Niersteiner Paterberg GG - St.Antony

The Paterberg is located in the south of Nierstein. With its west and north-west exposure and the fact that it has limestone soils, it occupies an exceptional position in the otherwise red-lying Nierstein. A very strong wind almost always blows over the Paterberg. All perfect conditions for Pinot Noir. In the glass, a clear, taut and quite cool, fine scent of red and a few black berries with hints of cherry, a touch of beetroot and pepper. The floral nuances and minerality of the limestone terroir join the juicy, partly preserved red fruit. Fine acidity and crumbly tannins. The finish shows the aging in wood with aromas of smoke.
